Mobile Computing Research Group (MCRG), through its research product, supported the Undiksha Community Service program at SMK Negeri 1 Seririt, Buleleng, Bali. As one of the realizations of the vision and mission of Undiksha based on Tri Hita Karana, the Community Service activity related to the use of the Balinese Script mobile learning application (ToAksara and ToLatin). This activity also supports the Governor’s program to preserve the local heritage of the Balinese Language/Script. The activity included training with the participation of Undiksha students, also participants from SMK Negeri 1 Seririt students and teachers.
Thanks to the Principal of SMK Negeri 1 Seririt, Bapak I Ketut Sutaya, his staff, and Head of MGMP Bahasa Bali SMK Kabupaten Buleleng, Bapak Putu Bisma Putera Aryana, S.Pd. M.Pd., who has made this activity run smoothly.
This activity is one of the efforts to preserve local Balinese culture based on technology, especially related to the Balinese Language/Script, and is one of Undiksha’s contributions to Bali. It is hoped that in the future, activities like this can be sustainable and further strengthen the existence of Balinese local heritage.
